Warm -up
we are talking about area, volume, perimeter, and circumference.Open your books to pg.284.we aree talking about us measureing the light pole on the football field. We use the sun to figure out the height of it, the sun shines on the pole and the pole shows a shadow of it so we are going to measure it .But we can't go outside because we are in 5th period so we are measureing it on the board. Go to page 286 and do problems 7 & 8.

we wemt over the warm up and then we went on a bathroom brreak:).then we went over a refrence sheet and people just kept guessing and the got it wrong.then we had a small discussion about distance and measurement and also time to.
we are now doing the warm-up about function tables.we got back from the bathroom,and now we are doing work.we are seeing what shapes have corresponding angles on pg 282.

today we are working on warm up and the answer is 3k=a.And now we have to work on page 604 the function table.

29 April - Jessie. today we ourwarm up was multi step eqaution. we sperated into groups for a math eqaution project where we write the problems from pg 573. # 5: the perimeter of an isossceles triangle is 4 times the length of the shortest side. the longer sides are 4.5 ft longer than the shortest side. what is the length of each side of thee triangle. go team G 5

Warm-up: writing equations to problem solve.
Launch: creating and solving proportions
Explore: Each student that wanted to participate had their height measured in inches. Then each student recieved a piece of tape. All that participated then jumped as high as possible and placed their tape on the wall. Each distance was measured providing each student with their own ratio of height standing to jumping height.

21-22 Apr - Benchmark Testing.
Trevon today is 4-23-09 Today we did a warm up review on multi step equation.Then we went to the bathroom and after that we finished the warm up.When we got done with the warm up we started doing work that is review on multi step equation inside the math book.
